Feastive EO — Event Management System

Context

Feastive organises weddings and related events. Administrators manage orders, templates, finances, and reports; coordinators oversee events; crew carry out assignments; and clients provide information through dedicated links. Development ran from November 2025 through September 2026, with operational use from the early development stages.

Problem

The team needs a consistent way to prepare multiple events. Client information, schedules, tasks, vendors, and documents must connect within one system and be accessible according to each user’s responsibilities.

Approach

The client supplied business requirements and document formats and tested the system in operations. Development builds on Laravel and Filament, using Firebase for push notifications and third-party PDF, Word, and Excel libraries.

Solution

An order generates sub-events, preparation lists, rundowns, vendors, personnel, crew tasks, and an initial invoice from templates. Clients complete link-based forms, while administrators refine plans and assignments. On the event day, the crew portal supports live rundowns, guest check-in, expenses, and an emergency button. Payments and expenses feed into reports.

Outcome

The client uses the system in operations. Templates automatically create event structures so the team does not need to rebuild them for every event. Sub-event planning is implemented and continues to be refined.
