Bangun Karina — Business Management & Company Profile

Context

The system serves administration and finance teams, project managers, team members, and management. The public websites introduce PT Bangun Karina Nusantara and PT Bangun Karina Karya, with content managed through an administration panel.

Problem

Managing multiple projects requires consistent billing documents and clear payment records. Requirements include invoice addresses that differ from quotations, two receipt formats, quotation revisions without retyping, instalments, and multiple invoices from a single quotation.

Approach

Development progressed iteratively based on user feedback. The administration panel builds on Laravel and Filament, with role-based access and document and workflow customisation for the company.

Solution

Customer and project records feed into revisable PDF quotations. Invoices are created from quotations with Draft, Finalized, and Paid statuses. Payment records calculate outstanding balances and update invoice status, after which receipts can be printed. A calendar and kanban board support project and task tracking; only the task assigner can mark work as complete.

Outcome

The team actively uses the system, which has evolved with operational needs since 2024. Project administration and billing are centralised, while website content can be updated through the administration panel. Maintenance and support remain ongoing.
